Thomas Copley reveals how he lost over 100 pounds eating what he calls “healthy” fast food.
The diet he chose was primarily vegan with an occasional 72% *cacao dark chocolate bar (and a bag of chips).
*Cacao powder is packed with flavonoids. These nutrients that have been shown to help lower blood pressure, improve blood flow to the brain and heart, and aid in preventing blood clots. The flavonoids in cacao powder may help increase insulin sensitivity, reducing your risk of diabetes.
One of the interesting things he also reveals is that he did practically no grocery shopping during his journey down the scale.
He also openly admits that he could have saved more money if he shopped and prepared his food. But as Tom says:
“I am a bit lazy and have a tremendous work schedule.”
Never does he say what kind of work he does nor does he show before and after photos because, in his words, he’s a private person.
Still I believe that his story is worth a read.
One of the funniest parts of the book is where he explains what caused him to lose the weight. I won’t give it away here.
Although Thomas Copley was able to achieve his goal using ‘healthy fast food’ it should be noted that fast food, healthy or not, contains large amounts of sodium!
Eight dollars a day, without grocery shopping, may not be a lot of money. But his story is compelling. Particularly since the book is only a dollar on Amazon KDP.
